Do you still connect outsourcing with merely basic services? It is wrong

The term “outsourcing” is becoming more and more attractive. You can hear this almost everywhere – on both informal and formal business meetings, on various conferences and so on. I am sure that a lot of people already are aware what outsourcing means.
apparently, not everybody. Probably, most of you can also explain that it enables to transfer various activities to a third enterprise. Thanks to that, it is possible to put bigger effort and to concentrate more on the core activities.
Nonetheless, I have an impression that many people connect outsourcing mainly with rather basic activities. For example, when they think about outsourcing they frequently think about really simple IT services that allows using IT professionals only when there is some kind of IT problem, instead of hiring those proffessionals in the enterprise on the regular basic as regular employees. I gotta admit that this category of way of thinking may be really incorrect. Not just because outsourcing could offer so far more than just enabling to avoid employing employees permanently. This also allows you to get an access to professionals that you could never afford to have otherwise. But it is not the field I want to focus in this very short text. There are plenty of others articles on positive and negative sides of using outsourcing.
In this text I would like to present that outsourcing is so far more than just basic IT services. I believe it began from that point previously. But as this field grows, outsourcing companies started to be extremely specialized in particular fields of interest. For instance, if your firm needs to do some android development services, this is possible to use outsourcing for this activity- http://smtsoftware.com/en/android-app-development. Nevertheless, as such process is rather complex, in this case we would rather call it as managed services- view. It still can be considered as some category of outsourcing. Nonetheless, it is a great deal more compelx. What is the reason? Because as it was mentioned, typical outsourcing is very often associated with lower cost and possible savings. Managed services go far beyond the cost savings.
Managed services includes plenty, quite complex services at the same time, for example also these connected with managing the project. Thanks to that, you could have highly educated and experienced professionals working on creating and implementing complex IT services for your company.
